Bio: I'm 58. Born in Brisbane, Australia, living in Ireland since 1974. My 6 children, (born between 1986 and 2008) learned at home, til at least age 12, some later. We like HOME.. home birth, home education, home grown, home made.. I LOVE breastfeeding and am a little nostalgic for those small faces and hands and nuzzly night-time sounds now the youngest has weaned. I keep in touch with younger mothers by being a La Leche League Leader, accredited breastfeeding counsellor. I am part of a European home educating community, whose focus is keeping vigilant, about any dilution of family's rights to direct the education of the younger members.
